The interior wall tiles of kitchen and bathroom tiles are one of the mainstream decorative materials, but some people found cracks in the interior wall tiles during the laying process. How can we prevent cracks in the interior wall tiles?
Before paving: pay attention to place the tiles vertically so that the tiles are completely submerged in clean water for more than 3 hours (defined by no bubbles emerging from the water surface), and then dry them vertically for standby. The tiles laid on the same wall shall be soaked and used at the same time, and the mixed paving of products soaked in different batches shall be avoided as far as possible to ensure that the color of the paved products is uniform.
When paving: 1-2mm mortar joint shall be reserved to facilitate volatilization of moisture and avoid affecting the service life of ceramic tiles due to thermal expansion and cold contraction. However, it should be noted that the tiles to be paved should not be pointed immediately. Generally, the pointing should be done more than 10 days after paving, which is conducive to the effective volatilization of the moisture in the tiles and the rapid restoration of the color of the tiles. The reserved mortar joints shall be filled with white cement and waterproofed (the white cement shall be level with the glaze) to effectively prevent the exposed water from infiltrating into the brick again from the mortar joints and causing discoloration around.

The inner wall tiles at the corners need to be polished. The process of "grinding the edges and corners of the inner wall tiles", the specific construction parts are mostly at the external corners and internal corners of the wall. This is mainly for the straight connection between two pieces of inner wall tiles at the external corners or internal corners, without mouth opening and cracks. The edging of interior wall tiles is very simple, that is, a 45 degree angle is evenly ground on one edge of the interior wall tiles, so that there will be no gap between the two interior wall tiles, which is called "diagonal".
