The common structural adhesives used in the manufacture of structural wood-based panels include phenolic resin adhesives, melamine modified urea-formaldehyde resin adhesives and isocyanate adhesives. And non-structural adhesives, such as urea-formaldehyde resin, have poor weather resistance, and the bonding properties will age when affected by humidity and high temperature The bearing capacity of the panel is weakened, so the wood-based panel produced with non-structural adhesives can not be used as structural material. Among all kinds of common wood-based panels, fiberboard, common particleboard and common plywood are generally not used as structural materials.
